Christmas Parade

I took Makenna to the Wake Forest parade today. Daddy worked super early so go a nice almost two hour break while we had  a blast at the parade. She even saw Santa, and didnt cry. She hugged him, and he picked her up and I got a decent picture..no smile but hey thats okay!

She liked the dancers in the parade, and the monster truck, but not the motorcycles...they were too loud. She was all about getting all the candy people were handing out too...it was so fun!

I love that she is at an age where she and I can go enjoy things together without worrying about a diaper bag, clothes, bottles, cups, etc..and that she actually talks to me. Yes we all know I'd love another baby to love and tag along whenever God is ready, but I'm content in enjoying my little almost 4 year old little girl too right now.

Then we went home and had lunch with Daddy. The I got to go to the grocery store alone..what a treat, I could pick what I wanted without hearing I want this, i want that...no not that kind lol. 

Spending time with daddy in the evening was fun. We all went to bed by 9ish...we are old! LOL. Great long weekend this week!
