We got word this week that our PPA (home study) has officially been approved! We are officially submitted to the state to be granted a foster care license as well (which will be done just takes time to issue the official decree)....
We have started being able to review children's in depth profiles and WOW....sad stuff to say the least, poor kiddos! Wish we could help them all! We have been submitted for three situations and may or may not ever hear anything so will continue asking to be submitted for any children that we feel we can parent. At least one of them we are being submitted for is a huge long shot (40 families applied before us, for instance) but hey you never know who GOD has in mind!!)....so we wait.....and wait.....
more kiddos can be shown to us.....or we can keep searching on photo listings for our state (right now we are concentrating on only NC for a variety of reasons).
Keep our futirue child in your prayers please, that they are safe, living in peace and love and that they find their way to us in HIS perfect timing!

We are praying about attending a matching even in early June, but not sure we will have the extra funds for the trip (About 1.5 hours away and would need an affordable or free babysitter for Kenna as other children cant come)....so pray we feel led to go and things work out if we are meant to be there (for networking with social workers, children that will be present, etc).
